Arc uses Sponge to power Maestro iPod prize draw
Maestro, one of MasterCard's credit card brands, has been incentivising its commuting customers to use their Maestro card by giving them the chance to win an iPod this April.
Customers traveling via major train stations (London Victoria, Euston, Paddington, Liverpool Street and Manchester Piccadilly) and making a purchase with their Maestro card, then have the opportunity to enter the prize draw.
After their purchase, the customer texts in the first six digits of their Maestro card number (for subsequent validation) and are automatically entered into the next hourly prize draw, taking place from 3pm to 8pm.
Sales Promotion Agency, Arc, appointed Sponge to manage the SMS campaign using the Text Generator Draw Engine - which collates all valid entries and automatically draw winners at the scheduled times - on an hourly basis. Winners details are processed and automatically passed on for fulfillment by the agency to notify the winner within 2 hours of the draw.
